My Journey Behind the Lens
From a second shooter to embracing my own style
As a second shooter, I did a lot of observing. I would often capture the tender moments between a father and his daughter just before he walked her down the aisle. I would notice the split-second squeeze of hands right before the ceremony doors opened. These were the soft, honest emotions that weren’t on the shot list but ended up becoming the photos families cherished most.
Somewhere along the way, I realized: The photos that matter most aren’t always the perfectly posed ones — they’re the meaningful ones.
